Quick chooser

For focus blocks

Use Pomodoro for structured work/break cycles, or Simple Hourglass for one-click presets.

For intervals

Use Interval Timer when you want custom WORK/REST durations.

For EMOM / AMRAP

Use EMOM Timer for minute beeps, or AMRAP Timer for a simple countdown.

For fixed workouts

Use Simple Tabata (8 rounds of 20/10) or Simple HIIT (10 min of 30/30).

Example setups

  • Deep work: 25 min focus / 5 min break (Pomodoro).
  • Intervals: 40s work / 20s rest for 15 minutes (Interval Timer).
  • Quick cardio: Simple HIIT (30/30 for 10 min).

Common pitfalls

  • Mobile browsers may block audio until you tap “Start” (by design).
  • Make sure your device is not in silent mode if you rely on beeps.
  • For workouts, keep the screen awake or use a stand so you can glance at it.
