How to use
- 1Write or paste Markdown in the editing pane.
- 2Use the Split / Markdown / Vertical controls in the toolbar to switch layouts.
- 3Drag the divider in Split mode to resize the editor vs the vertical preview.
- 4Press Esc in a full layout to return to Split view.
- 5Open a .md file, save your draft as .md, or copy the Markdown to the clipboard.
Common mistakes
- Expecting arbitrary HTML inside Markdown to render (raw HTML stays disabled for safety).
- Resizing the divider on a mobile device (mobile falls back to Edit / Preview tabs).
- Closing the browser tab before the local auto-save runs (it saves within a second of typing).
