Music Practice Kit

Tune by pitch, find tempo by tapping, and practice with a clean metronome click.

Workflow

  1. 1) Quick tune for guitar

Open Simple Guitar Tuner and allow microphone access. Use it for standard tuning (E A D G B E).

  2. 2) Find the pitch (Hz / note)

Open Pitch / Hz Viewer and allow microphone access. Use it to tune a note or check intonation quickly.

  3. 3) Estimate tempo (BPM)

If you have a song in mind, tap along in Tap Tempo to get an approximate BPM.

  4. 4) Practice with a click

Set that BPM in Simple Metronome and practice with a steady pulse.

Common mistakes

  • Background noise can confuse pitch detection. Use a quieter room when possible.
  • On mobile, audio may be blocked until you tap a Start button (browser security).
  • Pitch detection is approximate; use it as a guide, not a lab instrument.

Example

Tap a groove to get ~92 BPM, then set the metronome to 92. Use pitch viewer to quickly tune to A4 (440 Hz).
